I have the same problem running vista RC1 x64, only with an HP dv5125us with amd 64, ATI radeon Xpress 200M, and 1 Gig RAM, also with conexant sound card. "No Audio Output Device is Installed" appears in the tray. I know this device is working because when I boot in WinXP it says Conexant AMC audio driver, and the sound works fine.
