The video has no pulldown cadence in the bin view, and some of it was recorded at 24p mode, so I used MXFX to remove the pulldown. The funny thing is, the source files of the video from 24P mode (with the 2;3 pulldown) matches the audio time exactly. So my feeling is that somehow on import I have added a pulldown to the audio.

If it's film, pulldown refers the fact that the film which was shot at a TRUE 24fps has been transfered to video at 23.976fps, so the audio has been slowed down slightly to stay in sync. When you play it back in a 24fps project you have to make the required adjustments (again) to the audio to keep it in sync.
