What is the best audio sampling frequency - LmK Music ...
https://lmkprod.com/best-audio-sampling-frequency/
The best frequency for recording, post producing and reproducing music is 44.1 Khz. Going above that, for music purpose, is pointless: you’d just get lots of unreadable data. Because, as you’ve already read from Nyquist-Shannon sampling theorem, you would be sampling frequencies that our ear can’t hear – and, also, who our modern reproduction devices won’t listen to: every …
Digital Audio Basics: Audio Sample Rate and Bit Depth
https://www.izotope.com/en/learn/digital-audio-basics-sample-rate-and-bit-depth.html
The sample rate of 44.1 kHz technically allows for audio at frequencies up to 22.05 kHz to be recorded. By placing the Nyquist frequency outside of our hearing range, we can use more moderate filters to eliminate aliasing without much audible effect. Other audio sample rates: 48 kHz, 88.2 kHz, 96 kHz, etc.
audio recording - how can i change frequency of recorded ...
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/15383206/how-can-i-change-frequency-of-recorded-sound-in-android
I am developing an android application that records through MIC and changes its frequency. Similar to Helium booth app for iphone. For the time being i have written code to record a file and save it in sdcard. Now my question is that can i change frequency of the sound while recording? or can i set frequency in which audio should be recorded.
What is Sampling Frequency? | Home Brew Audio
https://www.homebrewaudio.com/11417/what-is-sampling-frequency/
To put it simply, your sampling frequency needs to be twice as fast as any of the sound you are recording in order to have all of the necessary samples to sound continuous when it's played back. Knowing that the high end of human hearing stops at around 20 kHz, and that a little wiggle room is nice to have, we know why 44.1 kHz is used for most playback applications.
recording - Sound Design Stack Exchange
https://sound.stackexchange.com/questions/38504/how-can-i-record-frequencies-from-0-1-to-20-hz
I assume you are not only speeding up the sound, but simultaneously transposing it. So by speeding it up 4x you are transposing everything by 2 octaves. Speeding up by 1024x transposes your sound by 10 octaves. This means that 20 hz waves will turn into 20480hz waves and 1hz waves will turn into 1024 waves.
