DESCRIPTION. I have to easily agree with the first reviewer of this excellent Audio Research DS225. I'm running and powering 4 JBL 250Ti speakers in a 4 ohm load with this Amp, and the bass is deep, punchy, and clean. The mids and high end are remarkable. It's a pleasure to listen for long periods of time both Rock, and Jazz.

The DS225 replaced an Audio Research SD135 Class AB amplifier. Perhaps the SD135 is just not as good as some of the better quality amps that are out there, but it got me thinking that amazingly wonderful sonance can be achieved with a tubed pre and Class D amp.
