OK, its a 2009 topic and we are in 2016, but i need some advice.. I have Audio Research LS-26 and MC275 (and MCD301 Mcintosh CD and B&W 805D2 speakers) and i planning to replace the LS-26 to C-2500 Mcintosh. I will put a lot of money in this upgrade. No doubt, the c-2500 will match perfectly to my system aesthetically and sonic too.

The C22 is very similar to the C2300 in design features and the C2500 is the natural progression of the C2300. The C22 is a purist 2 channel preamp without a lot of the bells and whistles that the C2500 has.
