The input and output devices don't share a common sample rat
https://cgi.ikmultimedia.com/ikforum/viewtopic.php?t=12938
The input and output devices don't share a common sample rate! If I click OK to open the Audio Settings, the dialog appears. If I then choose AISO 4 All, the dialog sits there doing nothing forever and I have to kill the app. I've poked around the Windows 10 settings but I can't work out what to do - any suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks

I installed openshot a couple of weeks ago and managed to make videos composed of multiple clips with a different audio track easily, but today when I open the program it tells me "the input and output devices don't share a common sample rate", that I should fix this and restart the program.I have no idea how to do this or what it's referring to since I don't record with the …

An audio sample is just a number representing the measured acoustic wave value at a specific point in time. It’s very important to note that these samples are taken at temporally equispaced instants in a second. For example, if the sampling rate is 8000 Hz, it’s not enough that there be 8000 samples sampled during a second; they must be taken at exactly 1/8000 of a second apart.

Audio quality is an assessment of the accuracy, fidelity, or intelligibility of audio output from an electronic device. It depends on the bit rate, sample rate, file format, encrypting method, and also on the ability of the encoder to receive the essential bits right. Audio Bitrate. Bit Rate mentions the audio quality of the stream.

Stick to standard sampling rates (44.1, 48, 88.2, 96.... kHz) and then up-sample to one of those. Further to this, if you are implementing a software based mixer, the typical way to achieve this is to implement a sample-rate conversion function block on each input stream that will conform all inputs to the same sample rate using the internal sample clock. That way, you …

48 kHz is another common audio sample rate. The higher sample rate technically leads to more measurements per second and a closer recreation of the original audio, so 48 kHz is often used in “professional audio” contexts more than music contexts. For instance, it’s the standard sample rate in audio for video.
