The ESW9 is more mellow, warmer all across the sound frequency. The ESW10JPNs are much more detailed and one word that comes to me is "pure" compared with the ESW9. They are "very Electrostatic" sounding in comparison, fast, precise and evolving. I thought the ESW9 was musical until I got the ESW10JPN.

Well esw 9 cant get the sojnd of sound of esw10 as specs matter. Esw10 decay are quicker and PRaT (pace, rhythm and timing) is superior which depends on driver and not tuning. Well SQ of esw9 was same to esw10 when modded, but it is little boomy and sweet whereas esw10 is faster and sharper in accuracy. Prev. 1.

I am highly anticipating it, still enjoying the ESW9 that I got from SE. IMO, ESW9 seriously needs amping to squeeze every juice out of it.
