Hi firstly copy all component files from download to MactintoshHD/library/audio/plug-ins/components (or similar) go to live - preferences - click file folder tab - turn use audio units button to on - reload ableton and michael norris should be in plug in browser under audio units hope this helps

Audio units are a MacOS-only alternative to VSTs. Most plugins come with both formats, so whoever created the template was in MacOS and used the AU versions. There's no way to switch other than removing and re-adding each plugin individually, and it won't remember your settings when you do so
