I have an ipod Classic (160 gb). I purchased and downloaded a audiobook from audible.com. I'm in to Chapter 22 or 23 and all of a sudden it skips to the next book on my ipod. I deleted the book from my ipod and again I moved the audioboook from my itunes library back onto my ipod, but it does the same thing.

Oct 9, 2012. #14. Rip a new version in iTunes. I had this problem with audiobooks CDs ripped to mp3s (outside of iTunes) and loaded on iPod Classic. After reading the comments here, I changed my import settings and used Advanced>Create MP3 version in itunes to rip new versions. The new versions don't skip.
