12. go with the A2's. while there may be some bass lacking, i think it's sufficient and the A2's are so much more clearer and have more separation than the promedia 2.1 set. i upgraded from the promedia to the A2's about a month ago and I have no regrets whatsoever. imo, the promedia, even when you set the sub to a low volume, is too bassy ...

2. level 2. potatogun. · 10y. Klipsch's desktop solutions are pretty well known for going bad after a couple years. But they still sound pretty decent. The AE2 will be lighter in base. But 'multimedia' type speakers are generally pretty bad sounding in the low end anyways, although the Klipsch aren't terrible either.
