    The transport + 8200CD sounded more detailed than playing the same CD purely through the 8200CD. So to my mind this proved that the Cyrus transport was able to read the CD better than the 8200CD CD player. Further revelation was that the ESS Sabre DAC in the 8200CD was better than the DAC in my Cyrus amp.
