Just for info. I bought an Audiolab M DAC to use with my Airport Express. I'm afraid it does not work. Using the optical out of the Airport to the M DAC results in the M DAC breaking up as it continues to lock ...loose and then re lock. The problem is that the Jitter spec of the Airport is outside the acceptable jitter bandwidth of the M DAC.
