1. Not owned the vdacII so no direct exp but I've read on pink fish media that it was deemed a big improvement. 2. I stream to multiple rooms, with just the mdac in one path. The streams are perfectly in sync to my ears, so no discernable delay. 3. No you can leave it on so long as it has plenty of space around it. Many people do this.
