Audiolab 8000P Stereo Power Amplifier - Hi-Fi-Insight

    http://www.hi-fi-insight.com/audiolab-8000p-stereo-power-amplifier.html
The Audiolab 8000P Stereo Power Amplifier is a vastly underated amplifier first launched in the mid eighties after Audiolab had scored tremendous success with their first product, the 8000A Integrated Amplifier. Originally sold for £400, the original Audiolab 8000P Stereo Power Amplifier was loved by many but also hated by a few others.

Audiolab 8000 Preamplifiers user reviews : 4.4 out of 5 ...

I bought the audiolab 8000p from hifi corner (UK). I decided to pull the plug after listening to a friend's 8000s and being pleasantly surprised by the sound quality. Coupled with a rotel rc-03 pre-amp and Mission 782 speakers, the 8000p produces an incredible punchy live sound with precise and deep bass without being boomy or overpowering.

Audiolab 8000AP Preamplifier/Processor - HomeTheaterHifi.com

The Audiolab 8000AP is an interesting unit. It combines great aesthetics and a small form factor into a rock solid package. It is not going to win a “battle of the silk-screened logos”, but then I find many of those logos irrelevant for my own day-to-day use.

Audiolab 8000A/8000P Amplifier review and test

    http://www.hifi-review.com/150541-audiolab-8000a-8000p.html
The same we can say about a slim and elegant power amplifier - 8000P: it was made by Audiolab. There is the same oval button and the same graphics of metallic body with typical for this company sizes. This amplifier is not remarkable from behind, except, maybe, two pairs of very qualitative screw terminals for speaker systems for each channel.

That Was Then... Audiolab 8000DAC review | What Hi-Fi?

    https://www.whathifi.com/features/was-then-audiolab-8000dac-review
The DAC dynasty started with the company’s original number-cruncher, the 8000DAC. We reviewed it back in our July 1992 issue and rated the unit high enough to give it an Award later that year. The 8000DAC was a neatly made thing, finished with a professionalism few homegrown rivals could match. At the time its connectivity was considered ...

6moons audio reviews: audiolab 8000 Q+M

Perusing audiolab's price sheet, I chuckled. The prices didn't tickle, the surcharge for black did. It wasn't long ago that you had to pay extra for silver. That's not peculiar to audiolab. Call it hifi fashion. I used to prattle on about black being so 80s. Silver was the hip choice.

Audiolab 8000CD CD Players user reviews : 4.6 out of 5 ...

    http://www.audioreview.com/product/digital-sources/cd-players/audiolab/8000cd.html
The Audiolab 8000CD is a great player...when it is working. It retrieves everything from the disc and produces a lean detailed sound. Certainly, flaws in the CD recording process shows up when inferior discs are played through this player. Unfortunately though my 8000CD has been inoperable for the last two of the three months that I have owned it.
