yup, I have tried increasing the gain in the audiopara file, but the sound quality is actually quite bad. That's why I revert back to stock form, and after awhile, I find that the stock volume level is actually quite acceptable, much louder than Touch Pro for sure.

I found that the stock ROM of the X1 will lock the maximum sound from the speakers to 60% always, using SBP panel the sound was at 60% even though it was set at maximum, i downloaded the HTCvolume.cab and that fixed the problem, it is found in the second post of this thread, i did not have to manually change the ringtones, as i found that this will lead …

After you install the software go to your Xperia open the software, navigate to Windows folder got the the AudioPara3_XC file and remove the read only option for the file.
