    So i am an audiophile, but i have hearing loss. I cant hear above 8000 hz and i have some loss (but nowhere near total) below that frequency. Oddly enough, i have developed a pretty fine ear, even with hearing loss. Good headphones and speakers and such really make a difference and i can really tell the difference in headphone and speaker quality.
