Since it has cooled down a bit I have been thinking of making a ported box for one of my Audiopulse Axis 12" quad coil. I have done some tinkering in WinISD pro to see if it is feasible. I have already tried 1 in a 1.4 cu ft sealed enclosure and I really like it but these little suckers are power hogs.

they are a mixture of SPL and SQ, supposedly the LMS technology makes it have the best linearity of any sub, myself i didnt hear it. they are pretty power hungry as well. i achieved the same results with what i thought was a better sound with half the rms and a sub thaqt costed less. I'm looking at the audiopulse Axis cause i want 12's but they don't make the lms in 12's. How are they SPL and SQ. I want very loud with above average SQ. SO would these Axis be what I am looking for.

Honestly they are hard to compare because I have the Revos sealed and the Axis ported. I personally liked them both a lot. Not sure which is more efficient. I was giving the axis 3500rms. The Axis did have a pretty quick roll-off but at the time I had dual 6.5s in each door for front stage. They had no problem covering up for the sub. Hope this helps.
