The Audiopulse Epic 12" is 6.2" deep. Maybe you could mount the driver on the outside of the drywall to gain the extra depth and build a grill to cover it? I imagine you could build some curved ports into the wall to get even more performance out of the subs. I assume the studs are 16" on center and an 8' ceiling?
