The LMS driver will do excellent in a sealed/PR enclosure (check Ikka's test). I have a Audiopulse LMS 15" driver in a PR enclosure, tuned to 16hz in a 7cf box and it's great in my very big room. Like you, my weakness right now is the amp, I'm using a ED LT1300 plate amp.

prrice for a lms 15 went from 700 (what i paid for mine) to 1600 they are a mixture of SPL and SQ, supposedly the LMS technology makes it have the best linearity of any sub, myself i didnt hear it. they are pretty power hungry as well. i achieved the same results with what i thought was a better sound with half the rms and a sub thaqt costed less.
