Anything tuned below 35hz is highly expected to not have a great effect in the mid 40hz range and higher. The HDC3 line is quite heavy for a 1000wrms rated speaker too. The 12, weighing in at 48.5lbs is definitely a monster! Most other subs in it's thermal rating category weigh approximately 15lbs lighter.

Posted on Wednesday, July 08, 2009 - 16:02 GMT. I to would take the previous hd3 over the new hdc3's any day. The hd3's were built so well. I abused mines and felt they were indestructible. I used mines for about a year on the Massive 3k amps. After taking them out they were stiff as the day I got them.
