The Audioque has a much more simple motor than the DD 9500. The Audioque motor won't work with voice coils lower than dual 1.5 ohms, while the DD motor will work with coils as low as dual 0.5's. the audio que hd is supposed to have a more powerful motor than the dd 9500, and costs about 1/3rd as much. sorry if this didnt really answer your question and is kinda long winded but im really excited about finding this new company, and really depressed about all the thousands of $ i could have saved if i would have known about audio que sooner.
