The Audioquest Ruby is abeautiful, well-made, excellent sounding interconnect. The end terminators are very sturdy and grip well without being over-tight. I have the cables connecting my Sony CDP-XA20ES (the only Sony product I even consider to be worth a look, a great machine) and Parasound HCA-1000A Power amplifier.

In upgrading my interconnects from my Denon 2500 DVD player ot my Reciever I tried several mid priced brands, Cardas Crosslink $75, Straight wire symphony II, Audio Quest Ruby $125, and Kimber Hero $120. I have to sya the Audio quest were at the bottom of the heap. I ranked them Hero, Symphony II, Crosslink and then the Rubies.
