Have tried the german audio and missing files fixes, neither have worked. Tried the HID uninstall thing and that didn't work either. Thankfully I'm well within refund territory if need be but I wanna give this game a chance before trying that out. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Go to the Prototype 2 folder and search file audio_german.rcf.
