I know this is a very old post, however, it is the first result for "Audioslave Monstereo". I think I figured out who really did this song. I believe it is by the band "The Most Terrifying Thing". They were formerly known as Audioslave, but Chris Cornell's band bought the rights to the name, so the previous band changed their name.

I am reasonably sure that "Monstereo" is actually from the band "The Most Terrifying Thing". They originally held the name "Audioslave" until this band acquired the name. "Monstereo" isn't on "The Most Terrifying Things"'s releases, but it sounds like one of their songs. It's probably a demo from when they had the "Audioslave" name.
