The MONO bridging switch is a nice toggle design. (400 wpc 8 ohms MONO) and the auto signal sensing is nice for those of us who forget to turn off our amps! 150wpc into 8 ohms and 300 into 4 makes it a nice powerhouse for those of us on a budget needing the juice!

The measured power bandwidth of the Amp 3 review unit (the highest frequency where the voltage level is down 3 dB from the level measured at 10 kHz) extends to 250 kHz, although AudioSource uses an output RC network to rolloff at about 85 kHz (in their latest production units). The 10 kHz ± 10V square wave response is very nice too.

The AMP-300 is a different OEM. They switched to save production cost and the interior design shows this. Definitely consider the used market, OP. That $360 would easily cover the $250 I paid for a used Emotiva UPA-2 (125wpc) and leave you with plenty left over for a nice steak dinner.
