Yes, the AudioSource sub was a little boomy. Fifteen minutes and $4.00 later, I'd lined the inside with speaker polyfill, and it sounded great. Never had a problem with hum, try a better cable. My Carver sub rattles a little at high volume (the amp itself rattles, I think). If anyone knows a good place I could send it, please PM me.
