Used to be, Audiosurf < Audiosurf 2. As of right now Audiosurf = Audiosurf 2. I dont like the most recent update, where mono was made to be more like mono midway. The algorithm for the blocks is bad in audiosurf 2, you sit in one lane too long, there itsn't enough movement. And all the songs have too much of the same feel.

It brings two things to the normal mono mode: loops (like a rollercoaster) and power pellets. When you collect a power pellet, the blocks for some seconds after it are upgraded into power blocks.
