As far as the power blocks go basically you want to try and fill your grid as much as possible before picking them up to maximize your score. To make this ridiculously easy, load Audacity (link above), open a slow or ambient song (rainforests, oceans), after about 30 seconds insert the required number of minutes of silence, and end with another 30 seconds of ambience. In Audiosurf 1 Ninja Mono, with Iron Mode on for extra difficulty, it still detected the ENTIRE song as a slow, boring, uphill slog with zero difficulty whatsoever despite the song being very fast paced and frenetic.
