When I learned Pointman back in Audiosurf 1, the Deep Strategy Guide [www.audio-surf.com] by Avarice was a great help and an awesome ressource (and it still is). However, not everything in his guide still applies to Audiosurf 2, so I decided to write a guide with updated information.

Scooping blocks may be performed by holding down mouse button 1 as your hit blocks, and mouse button 2 lays them down in the column you are currently in. There are various aspects of this function: Dropping blocks follows the rule of "First in, last out." In other words you will drop the most recently collected block when you right click.

To make this ridiculously easy, load Audacity (link above), open a slow or ambient song (rainforests, oceans), after about 30 seconds insert the required number of minutes of silence, and end with another 30 seconds of ambience. This will trick AudioSurf into making a VERY easy song for you to go through.
