I recommend dschallert's Pointman tutorials on youtube look up the user (Sherbrick) if you're interested in learning pointman. It covers how to start learning if you're used to using only Mono. Pointman is a strong contender with any level of traffic, although it becomes mroe difficult with traffic above 220 or so (depending on your reflexes).

Your best bet for tutorials are in the community guides. There are a handful of guides, of varying quality, for mono mode and at least one that I know of for pointman mode. Having a grip on how to play mono mode is enough for the majority of game modes in audiosurf 2, puzzle modes are somewhat different and each is unique.
