Oct 12, 2013 @ 12:57am Limit in Audiosurf 1 was because generated track and music would wouldn't be in sync past 15 mins or so. Limit was increased to 1 hour but there was easily noticeable desync between track and audio past 30mins. Audiosurf 2 doesn't complain about Dopesmoker so limit is at least increased from AS1 or completely removed.

Mono in Audiosurf 2 is way more competitive than in Audiosurf 1 lol. In AS1 you just collect all the colored blocks and you already have the top possible score. If your opponent's computer generates a better track than your computer does, you can't compete with them because the skill ceiling is so low. Being "perfectable" is a bad thing.
