I put the CCS-100 cruise control into my 1998 Ford Escort. It is an excellent product considering it is universal. It fit well and was simple to install, specifically for someone with a little more experience than I have at auto electronics. I did find that the installation manual seemed to be designed for better-than-novice techs.

Audiovox CCS-100 use to work, then would work intermittantly, now doesn't work at all. It was always smooth but sometimes would either just stop working or would take awhile playing with the switch before it would work. Now for the troubleshooting I've done. I have a spare CCS-100 to play with. Troubleshoot switch and works fine.

On my Rostra if you speed up to pass someone and then let off of the throttle the Rostra is waaaayy late picking up again, dropping 10 or more mph. Very little lag with the Audiovox. I've never noticed this action on mine. Maybe I compensate with the throttle without realizing it LOL! I will need to test this on mine.
