I put my Avidemux portable zip file into Downloads, extracted it to there, rightclicked the exe file, play with Wine Program Loader and there it was. Worked beautifully. I'm currently waiting to see what's causing my Windows BSOD's and, should I need a reinstall, I'm leaving Windows for Zorin.
