The above thread has info, on different versions. V1 was made in the US, blue speaker and demands higher prices. V1-3 benefit from the BILLM mods as they are noisy. V4 Fender incorporated the BILLM mods in redesign and is quieter with higher headroom, before breaking up and has a P10R speaker, same as Jeff Beck.

As you know, Bill M is no longer with us and it seems his mods are no longer available. I used the Fromel supreme kit. Also have a Heyboer TO-20 output xfmr, Eminence Cannabis Rex speaker, JJ tubes with 5751 in the V1 position, MOD reverb tank. Amps sounds a LOT better, very controllable, nice to listen to, except… it still sounds boxy.
