Thanks for the help. I was now able to get the signal through to my TV from the DeckLink card after installing the newest Desktop Video drivers and rebooted, after that Avid MC restarted and then the MC main windows was titled "Avid Media Composer Decklink Extreme 4K" and the button for external display and the options showed "video out".

No the GEN 10 can not fully align SD and tri-level sync. You will need something else for that. You can output both sync signals from the GEN10 but they won't be aligned. But even if it did it won't help you. You will need a new sync box and a SYNC HD for 100% frame accuracy but there's no way to edge sync a 24P video to an SD grid (25fps or NTSC).

When HW is active I get picture but no sound. When SW is active I get sound but no picture. As you can see in the attached PNG, the Avid Audio Hardware Peripheral window is showing three peripherals. Blackmagic & Avid OHCI & US-16x08. The Card window is showing UltraStudio 4k Mini & 1394 Audio & CoreAudio Host. Is this normal?

I just connected my Ultrastudio SDI to my Avid Media Composer 6.5 on a Windows 7 based laptop. I expected the HDMI output to be for video only but it's also for audio. So there is no sound coming out of the speakers anymore. Is there a way to tell Ultrastudio SDI or Avid to use the HDMI port for video output only?
