I don't watch Blu Rays that often but two recently have had lip sync errors occur part way through the film. I'm using a 60GB PS3 connected to an Onkyo 876 receiver and on to a Sony HW10 projector, all connections with HDMI (all devices 1.3). The PS3 is set to LPCM output (to get all the HD audio) and automatic 24fps.

But BluRay & DVD need to be around 120ms on two of our PS3's (slim & super slim (started about mid summer). The PS4 has the same offset as the other sources, same HDMI cable and input. I wasn't sure if I could force the PS3 to convert to 5.1 (or 7.1) PCM, so I turned off Dolby True and all of the PCM modes in the player - and it started sending Dolby Digital to the receiver - which fixed the sync problem (voices and sounds were now consistent with the visuals).
