I only used Boxee for Netflix and watching movies from my NAS. I'm new to Kodi/XMBC but I've always wanted to try it out. I'm wondering if it's still worth it for me to use Boxee or move on to something like the Nexus player (I've read the Nexus has its own nuisances as well). 1) Disable TrueHD/DTS-MA support in Boxee audio pass-through settings and leave LPCM, AC3, DTS enabled, I'm not entirely sure but Boxee can output LPCM in some circumstances. 2) Convert the audio stream to lossless flac which will just get output as LPCM to your amp. 3) Stick with AC3/DTS tracks when ripping with MakeMKV.
