Playing the same file in two instances of BSP doesn't change anything, still no video. You might also pick "VFW configuration" and "Video decoder configuration" from ffdshow 's Start Menu folder, highlight Codecs in the left pane, and see if any of the codecs for the videos you're trying to play are set to 'disabled' in the Decoder column.
