i think there is no need to bypass Windows mixer, you can select any DirectSound Device of your sound card, it is a bit short than System Default in MPC-HC Audio Decoder properties dialog uncheck Mixer (so this will do audio driver if needed) and check all Output sample formats, mpc-hc will decide which one is best to use

It seems to provide a simple way to bypass your soundcard when using a PCM direct digital output no matter what audio player you use. This is good news for those who want to use WMP. I'm guessing all audio from all programs goes through this (providing you select, 'force reclock to be loaded instead of default audio driver') including spotify!

3. There is numerous benefits of ASIO renderers Best used by people who do serious audio work. Those have little impact on ordinary audio playback when in most cases Wasapi Exclusive mode can do the job. I did expected some minor differences in FFT graph, but not 5 and 10dB reduction when used certain audio renderers.
