The Hypno-mod opens the 640P up in a major way. The two aren't even comparable. The cost is a no-brainer, the mod, I left that to the Hypno master. :thmbsp: As a comparison, I recently got a screaming deal on a second preamp to use with my other turntable, a $900 retail Bel Canto Phono 1.
