And if you're not keen on the silver finish, you can have it in black. It all makes for pretty good reading. Cambridge's Navigator remote is comprehensive, if a trifle confusing, and where build quality, finish and looks are concerned the 650A's the equal of anything in this price class Luxuriously widescreen sound

Cambridge Audio Azur 650A has a wonderful sense of rhythm, correctly conveys the structure of musical work. Dynamical qualities can be assessed as sufficient - at least, there were no significant faults in test phonograms. The stage is built with clear perspective in depth, we can't find fault in localization of imaginary images too.

Cambridge Audio 650A vs Yamaha A-S500 'Review' | AVForums

Winner - 650A The casing on the 650A feels much more rigid and better quality. The brushed aluminium front feels high quality, unlike the A-S500 which feels a bit 'plasticy' and cheap. The knobs all feel very strong and turn quite stiffly but smoothly. It may be lighter than the A-S500 but it certainly feels stronger and more durable.

Hi Guys / Gals, I am in the market for a new amp, as my 20yr old Studio Standard by Fischer is showing its age. I am looking to spend around $1250, but that is more of a guide line, as without it I will get into trouble with the misses. The main systems I am looking at are the Cambridge Audio Azur 651A ~$880, Rotel RA-1520 ~$1150 integrated amps, or going with a …

Review: Cambridge Audio 640a Integrated Amplifier

Cambridge touts this unit as having a "damped, vibration resistant cabinet." While its shape is unique, and may help damp some airborne vibrations, I still felt it was lightweight enough to merit a sandbag on top of the chassis. The unit's fit and finish was a 9 out of 10.
