I find it easier on the ears than the far more common Mk 3 SE (which is no slouch, either) and it has the added benefit of a headphone output. As to the differences between the A1, A2, A3i and ATAC 3, there are plenty of articles about them in their various guises to be found on the internet.

got a cambridge audio A1 amp off ebay a few months back, its only a year or so old from band new and the right hand channel wont output anything to speakers, both channels in my headphones work out the headphone jack i tried both speakers in the right hand channel and neither gave any form of static or feedback or obviously sound,
