The cambridge has a nice smooth, warm, laid back sound, the typical 'British' sound. Best mated with bright/neutral sounding speakers. The highs are a little too laid back and the midrange may be a bit too warm for some. The amp also has a slight mid bass bump (right at 60 hz, could be due to dirty power). Soundstage and imaging are fine.

She tells me there is a Cambridge Audio A300 there which I can have for £25. I just can't seem to find much about them online. Some say 30w per channel at 8ohm, some say 50w. It's only going to be feeding a pair of Eltax floorstanders (which I could bi-wire if the amp had the ability) and I don't play it that loud anyways.
