I was thinking, at $599 (the price for v2), you'd be hard-pressed to find a line stage as fast and transparent as the 640A, yet the 640A also has a more-than-decent 75wpc power amp built-in as well. It should function quite nicely to power the tweeters. Source is a turntable going to Cambridge's 640p phono stage.
