So maybe the 640 doesn't like the brand or the burn quality. A problem may be burning too fast. I never go above 12x whatever it says on the box. Not sure if it in the right three but here goes:-. I have a Cambridge Azur 640c CR Player. First problem was the cd tray was stuck, so after unsticking the tray mechanism and replacing the drive belt ( made a mistake by unscrewing a cog which led to whole cd tray action being disrupted!)
