Usually if it's greyed out it thinks a recording device is missing. Even if I'm only grabbing system audio I often plug in a mic and it works fine. not the recording device but the system audio is not getting picked up. i tested with and without audio driver, other software can record fine but i'd love to use the editing from camtasia.
