Oct 11, 2016 @ 11:27pm. Cannot Initialize DirectSound (Game wont open) Having an issue, when i hit play i get an immediate popup stating the problem listed in the title. All the box says is Cannot Initialize DirectSound. Running on windows 7, all drivers up to date. Tried compatibility mode and launching through the folder executable so far.
