I suddenly started having a problem playing audio/music CDs on my computer running Vista Home Premium. A CD will play for approx. 1m 3s and then stop. If using Windows Media Player I get the error C00D0FAB, which says can't play disk, disk might be dirty....try cd correction and try again. The play list also x's out the rest or most of the other tracks.

Windows Media Player cannot read the CD. The disc might be dirty or damaged. Turn on error correction, and then try again. on ANY cd, including the two disc i JUST opened fresh from shrink wrap. error correction has been turned on AND off, no difference in media player classic i just get static and loud noises.
