You'll want to only adjust the CD POT (not the DVD one). Look up a POT tweak guide on YouTube or something for info on how to do that. You're basically just turning the POT slightly until the laser (hopefully) reads discs again. If that doesn't work, replacing the laser or the entire drive will probably fix your problem.
