CAR AUDIO CALCULATORS - Apex Customs
https://www.apexcustoms.com/car-audio-calculators
This calculator is intended to help you calculate the power levels of your car audio or lighting systems. Terms E = Voltage (Volt) I = Current (Amp) P = Power (Watt) R = Resistance (Ohm) Formulas P = E / I P = I 2/ R P = E2 / R Instructions
Voltage Drop Calculator - Southwire
https://www.southwire.com/calculator-vdrop
Calculate Your Voltage Drop Determines wire size to meet specific voltage drop limits or calculates voltage drop for a specific conductor run. When sizing conductors, calculations limits wire size to voltage drop and NEC ampacity. Southwire's Voltage Drop Calculator is designed for applications using AWG and KCMIL sizes only.
WIRE - Basic Car Audio Electronics
http://www.bcae1.com/wire.htm
The voltage drop given by this calculator is for one conductor (such as the power wire from the battery to an amplifier). For 2 conductors (such as are used for 120 volt equipment) the voltage drop would be twice the values given by the calculator.
Voltage Drop Calculator - Wire Size Calculator
http://wiresizecalculator.net/calculators/voltagedrop.htm
Voltage drop is calculated for three-phase circuits as follows: Vd = Voltage Drop I = Current in Conductor (Amps) L = One-way Length of Circuit (Feet) Cm = Cross Section Area of Condcutor (Circular Mils) K = Resistance in ohms of 1 circular mil foot of conductor.

A new alternator ground, engine ground and hood ground. Can’t figure this one out. Like I said I believe it to be a wiring problem outside of the system itself because engine quickly drops in voltage above 4000-5000 rpm. Voltage reads about 14v at idle so no problem there until accelerating or bass drops.
Cableloss Calculator by Electro-Voice
https://products.electrovoice.com/na/en/cableloss/
Cableloss Calculator. Here’s a guide to using this free software tool. First, enter information about your cables, amplifier, and loudspeakers on the left side of the calculator. You will need to find out how the gauge (or diameter) of the conductors in your speaker cable is specified. You can find the gauge of the wire from packaging, the ...
